An existing Everest conservatory in Dalston was in desperate need of replacement. To overcome issues of overheating a bespoke roof design over-sails to shade new areas of glazing whilst still letting in lots of light.
The double-curved roof incorporates self-reciprocal joints to create something light weight and structurally efficient. The roof only requires support along one edge and six small columns.
